Auschwitz is the Nazi extermination camp in Poland for the Jewish people whom Hitler wished to eliminate from the face of the earth. This place is the well-known monument to modern-day an act of genocide. Standing in Auschwitz, one may actually feel the horror of facing, not only personal death, but the death of your entire culture and genetic heritage.Continue reading “Rohingyas: Out of the Depths of Suffering, We Cry”
Memperingati Peristiwa Nakba
Alhamdulilah I am 40 today
My soul is from elsewhere, I’m sure of that, and I intend to end up there. — Jalaluddin Ar Rumi
Alhamdulillah. I am 40 years old today.
The toughest part of my life was the passing of my mother in 1991 and what followed. My parents were already no longer around when I turned 34. Now that I’m through the other side, it is all sacred to me. It is part of who I am. It is in my blood and spirit, my dreams, my eyes, my worldview.
It transformed me.
Malaysia aset strategik kepemimpinan OIC

Call for Resignation and Censure of the President of the Malaysian Bar
Call for Resignation and Censure of the President of the Malaysian Bar for Misleading the Public – Lukman Sheriff Alias and Azril Mohd Amin
The first thing that came to mind when we read the press release of the Malaysian Bar issued on February 11th, 2015, by its President, Christopher Leong on Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s conviction, was the President misrepresenting the law and facts on the case. We were in utter disbelief on how a President who is supposed to represent the learned members of the Bar could have arrived at such misleading position. Indeed, as Leong himself put it, “it is a strange world that we live in.”
