Penganjuran “Thanksgiving Dinner” di dewan tersebut dengan melibatkan orang-orang Islam pada waktu berbuka puasa di bulan mulia Ramadhan menimbulkan pelbagai persoalan dan mendedahkan penganut agama Islam kepada upacara keagamaan bukan Islam di tempat bukan Islam.
