2013 in review

During secondary school and university, I tried hard to keep journals, because that’s what ‘aspiring writers’ are supposed to do. But I was inconsistent, and never got too much traction writing only for myself. Far more significant and memorable were the personal letters I wrote to a very few close friends during that time. I must admit that I learned to write because of them, for they really encouraged me.
